Your best weight is so much more than a number on the scale. This worksheet helps you name the vision that motivates your journey — and distill it into a single value you can hold onto, through every success and setback.

Your Vision

Creating a vision for your journey toward best weight is deeply personal. Picture yourself six months or a year from now: Is there something you can’t do now that you want to be able to do? A desire or motivation that pulls at your heartstrings? Is it an activity? Are you with someone? Is there a way you want to feel? What does the situation look like? What will motivate you to succeed when faced with challenges? Describe your vision below.

Your Value

Now, can you write a simple sentence, phrase, or word that captures that vision? For instance, if your vision is to walk with your daughter on the beach, perhaps a simple word — like your daughter’s name — can call up that image and a feeling of inspiration.

Consider this value a precious diamond: it cannot be tarnished or scratched by any “successes” or “setbacks.”
